You are a multi-passionate person and often feel compelled to pursue new adventures with your whole heart and soul.
-Maya Angelou
Praised as one of the best writers of all time, she often stood at a crossroads in her life, deciding what her next adventure would be. She never conformed to just one identity, which is what makes her so iconic.
Beyond her work as a writer and a poet, she was also a mother, wife, educator, dancer, civil rights activist, filmmaker and actress. Before graduating from high school, she was also the first black, female streetcar driver in San Francisco!
Despite Maya Angelou’s tragic and trying experiences of childhood that she shares in her autobiographies, she serves as an inspiration. She claims that the only thing a person needs to be is unapologetically themselves—“don’t be normal, just be yourself.”
She lived her own personal multi-passionate truth, and as a result, the entire world has felt the reverberations of her life’s work.

Whatever you are currently pursuing, you give it your all because anything you put your heart into deserves unwavering commitment.
And it’s easy to see how your focus and determination create amazing results! You only have to look to your past to see how you’ve succeeded in your various pursuits or at specific times in your life. You know what it feels like to be completely in the zone, focused on your work and flowing in a beautiful rhythm..
Productivity is a friend of yours and you love the feeling that rolls around about 5 o’clock when you know you’ve put in a good day’s work. You feel successful, confident, and on the right track.
This feeling also holds true when you have a personally rewarding photo shoot. The kind that was efficiently planned and expertly delivered. You take pride in your work, and after pouring your soul into beautiful weddings that celebrate the happy couple, you often feel inspired to dive even deeper into establishing your brand and business.
As a driven and committed person, what might be out of focus for you is the idea that you can have and balance the things you want most in life. You may feel pulled between your personal and professional life, unable to find the courage to give your all to either.
You might feel that if you poured your heart and soul into your photography business, your personal commitments would suffer.
But life is full of different seasons and it’s not always possible to strike a perfect balance between our personal and professional lives. Life isn’t a pie and there aren’t limited slices.

I've had 14 (yes, FOURTEEN!) years of experience at the top tier of the wedding industry, working with the best vendors and publications in the world. My latest passion is helping struggling photographers build a profitable business based on their vision and version of success, through mentorship and a proven roadmap (those fourteen years are coming in handy!).
There’s a common belief that you have to sacrifice your personal freedom to become a successful entrepreneur and that your personal relationships or commitments must suffer as a result. What I’ve learned from experience is that you don’t have to choose.
And that’s where your multi-passionate dreams come in. When you follow a proven path of success, carved by your unique vision of success, almost anything is possible—in your life, in your community, and in the world.
What I want most is to help photographers like YOU to step into the role of business owner with all the strategies, steps and tools I wish I’d had along the way—so you can achieve your grand vision and make waves in the world.
And, just so you know, THE pivotal shift for me began when I decided to start trusting the support available to me and stop trying to be all the things in my business.
I began to have faith in processes and people, which freed up my time. This allows me to work in my zone of genius so I can create the life and impact I know I’m meant for. That’s why I’ve made it my mission to help driven photographers just like you to reach a new level of mastery through your business, so you can create inspiring work and live an abundant life.
I’m excited to invite you on a journey with me, and if you jump over to your inbox now, you’ll see that I have sent you a link to a free guide that was made with the Compassionate Dreamer (that’s you!) in mind.
